For the 16th year in a row, Marlen Jewelers will participate as the Grand Prize Sponsor at the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s annual Dream Gala. Every event ticket buyer will automatically be entered into a drawing to win a gorgeous diamond tennis bracelet featuring 14 karat white gold and weighing in at a total of five carats.

Marlen Jewelers has graciously donated this beautiful piece of fine jewelry, valued at $13,500, to show their continued support for the cause.

Last year’s Dream Gala was attended by 350 supporters and raised over $356,000 towards type 1 diabetes research. This year’s goal is set at $380,000 and organizers are confident that this will be achieved.

Facebook Contest Winners Announced

With more customers spending time and sharing content on social media websites like Facebook, Marlen Jewelers is taking advantage of this by awarding prizes to a few lucky followers.

Marlen Jewelers wants customers to know about special savings and events and is using Facebook to distribute these messages. Customers who ‘like’ Marlen Jewelers on Facebook will enter the chance to win $1,500 in gifts. One lucky winner will receive $1,000 in store credit and two runners-up will win $250 each.

Marlen Proudly Supports Christ Child Society Annual Gala

For the past eight years, Marlen Jewelers has continued to support the Christ Child Society, a donation-based local organization that supports over 7,400 needy children through 125 social service agencies.

Marlen Jewelers donated items for their 60th Annual Starlight Ball,which raises funds to support these ] children in Cleveland-area shelters. The event’s jewelry raffle is extremely popular and this year Marlen’s presented a beautiful Hearts On Fire “fulfillment” diamond necklace, valued at $8990.00, and two gorgeous Pandora bracelets.

Proceeds from the auction fund Christ Child Society programs which include clothing for needy newborns, school uniforms, winter coats and hats, cribs and beds. The funding also enables them to operate and staff two libraries at St. Francis and West Park Academy and two literacy enrichment programs at Parmadale and Merrick House.

Hosted at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Cleveland, The Starlight Ball is the major annual fundraiser for the organization. Celebrating 95 years of service to the community this year, the Cleveland chapter is one of the oldest in the organization.

Mark Schneider Fall Event a Success

Award winning designer Mark Schneider visited Marlen Jewelers from October 8-9 to share new designs and consult customers on unique and one-of-a-kind creations.

Mark specializes in contemporary designs and his craftsmanship is characterized by simplicity and clean, fluid lines. His philosophy of jewelry has always been to create designs as wearable art and uses unusual gemstones and diamonds to create these distinctive designs.

We look forward to having Mark return next year for this privileged seasonal event.
